Beyond The Dark Knight

Beyond The Dark Knight: this Digital painting was created to show the next step in the Batman Beyond Universe, i.e. after Bruce Wayne has died, leaving Terry alone with the burden of filling Batman’s shoes.

This image is a combination of tricks basically some 3D elements i.e. the chair, the floor with the character created from elements and gradients. Showing old element from the Batman’s cave in the background the coin the playing card, with Terry very much in the foreground surrounded with all the new tech.

I was trying to show the experience of the past against the modern tools that give Terry his edge with the reminder of Bruce’s continued presence in the form of the late Bruce Wayne’s cain resting by the chair.
